As expected, the wild and crazy Grammys red carpet did not disappoint on Sunday night. Lizzo stunned in a bright orange Dolce & Gabbana opera coat that was covered with flowers and included a large hood.
Mixed in with blinged-out couture, crazy designs, and lots of flesh were tattered streetwear items such as T-shirts and denim.
Lizzo moved carefully in order to avoid tripping over the lengthy train of her thick coat. After a time, she removed the coat to her shoulders, exposing a bustier sequined corset gown in a softer orange color that was concealed below.
The coat was totally hand-embroidered with silk flowers that had been fashioned by the wearer, and the gown was composed of silk with crystal mesh Swarovski embellishments. She completed her look with crystal-encrusted heels and fingerless gloves made of transparent material.
Holly Katz, a stylist as well as the presenter of the Fashion Crimes podcast, said that “Lizzo is a flowery garden vision with her ruffle orange 3D robe and matching corset dress below.” [Citation needed] “And we adore it when she lets out a roar!”
Taylor Swift looked like she was channeling her Midnights period when she donned a long glittery two-piece skirt by Roberto Cavalli paired with a high-neck, long-sleeve crop top by the same designer.

They were, in fact, the color of the midnight sky. She completed her look with a pair of spectacular diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and an updo for her hair.
Harry Styles, an avid follower of fashion, strolled the red carpet wearing a jumpsuit with a rainbow harlequin design and Swarovski crystal embellishments.
He did not have a shirt on beneath. His low-cut, Egonlab-inspired, colorful ensemble was well received by the crowd. Egonlab is a new brand that was founded in Paris.
Jonathan Evans, the style director for Esquire, said that “the man appears to be having an enormous amount of fun with fashion,” and even though “that doesn’t mean wearing harlequin overalls for most of us,” the end result — the sheer joy of it — is something that we should all strive for. “The man seems like he’s having an enormous amount of fun with fashion,”
Cardi B., on the other hand, appeared in a show-stopping, sculptural electric blue gown with enormous shoulders and a headpiece that covered one of her eyes.
She proceeded slowly down the carpet while telling the cameras, “I’m trying, I’m trying,” while she was being photographed.
Cardi B wore an outfit from the most recent collection by Gaurav Gupta, “continuing to show she inherently understands the delicate style dynamics of the Grammys carpet,” according to the designer.

According to Bianca Betancourt, the digital culture editor for Harper’s Bazaar, “It is not about being ridiculous; rather, it is about making a message.”
Cardi B wore a silver metallic assemblage from the Paco Rabanne archive as she presented the award for best rap album.
The assemblage was designed by Paco Rabanne. On Friday, Rabanne passed away in France at the age of 88. Julien Dossena was responsible for both the top and the skirt in the year 2021. The hood that matched her outfit and hid her eyes was from the year 2020.
Additionally, Anitta created a name for herself in black Versace from the year 2003.
Betancourt said that she had moved “toward a more gothic look.” “The red carpet elegance was done in a manner that was uniquely the worldwide star’s with the flowing gown that was sublimely designed.
It maintained its seductive quality while still retaining a refined air. The fact that it didn’t seem to be plainly antique is a credit to Donatella’s skill.”
Machine Gun Kelly, who often wears clothes that push the boundaries of conventional style, was dressed in a silver double-breasted laminated foil suit with a Swarovski crystal harness. It was a one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana creation.
Megan Fox, who was dressed in a creamy Zuhair Murad, was seen with him. The bodice of the gown was a corset, and the appliqué was an embroidered heart.
Sam Smith was dressed in a fiery crimson outfit. They were joined by Kim Petras, as well as the drag queens Violet Chachki and Gottmik, all of whom were dressed in the same hue.
Smith donned a top hat that had a veil attached to it. They, too, all donned matching gloves, which seemed to be the thing to do that evening.

According to Betancourt, the predominant motif was black and white.
“It’s a fantastic way to play with more avant-garde looks while still preserving a sense of aesthetic structure,” she remarked of it. “It’s a great way to experiment with more avant-garde looks.” Lizzo and Kacey Musgraves both chose to wear monochromatic and textured outfits designed by Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino respectively.
The red carpet for the marathon started off with some noteworthy outfits. Doja Cat is known for always pushing the boundaries of fashion, and this time she chose to wear a one-shouldered, skintight black gown by Atelier Versace, complete with long matching gloves.
Bebe Rexha showed that the Barbiecore trend is still going strong by dazzling in a bright pink outfit that had twists from head to toe and a va-va-voom halter bodice. Jeremy Scott of Moschino was responsible for this outfit.
Musgraves wore a Barbie-inspired look by Valentino, which consisted of a fluffy cloak in a brighter shade of pink that was worn over a catsuit.
There were beautiful tattoos (Matt B), sparkling lip jewels (Alligator Jesus), and golden crowns (Matt B) (Alisha Gaddis). And plenty of sloppy and baggy outfits that resonated to many of the guys, such as Benny Blanco’s embroidered denim shorts combination.
On the men’s fashion front, there weren’t any massive, obvious, or excessively popular red-carpet trends this year, which actually turned out to be a nice development. Evans noted that this allowed for a greater degree of visibility for some of the more niche movements.
His most convincing argument? The jacket or suit with a double breasted front.
“It’s not just a 2023 thing, of course, but the popularity of the DB tends to ebb and flow, and it looks like this year may be a very good one for the silhouette.” “It’s not just a 2023 thing, but the popularity of the DB tends to ebb and flow.”
It has been seen on the likes of LL Cool J, Jack Harlow, Saint JHN, and Scott Evans, to name a few. They all looked amazing, and the really remarkable thing about it is that guys from any walk of life can model their attire after theirs and look just as amazing as they did,” he remarked.
Evans was also considering all of that denim at the time.
“Miguel was clad in it from head to toe. Additionally, Benny Blanco. It would seem that the looks were created with the concept of “controversial” in mind; nonetheless, they had the air of a kind of youth-culture cool that embraces rather than shies away from the idea of being divisive. “Take notice of those ensembles because, whether you like them or not, they seem to be a harbinger of a world that will be more denim-forward in the not too distant future,” he added.
But let’s go back to the vinyl that Doja Cat has.
Who just can’t get over the fact that Doja Cat attended Paris Fashion Week decked up in 30,000 red Swarovski crystals? “Well, she certainly doesn’t disappoint at the Grammys as she absolutely embodied the queen of darkness,” Katz added. “The Grammys are definitely not a letdown for her.” This style called for a Mia Farrow haircut from the 1960s, which worked out well.
Additionally, Betancourt was a Doja supporter.
“The outfit was edgy, seductive, and forward-thinking, much like Doja herself,” said the stylist. Her makeup is likewise deserving of special attention and praise. “Ernesto Casillas gave her a stunning cat eye (no pun intended) and paired it with a juicy metallic glossed lip that harkened back to the early aughts,” she added. “It was done without the kitsch that the majority of 2000s-inspired looks often perpetuate.“
While everything was going on, Viola Davis won a Grammy at the pre-telecast event for the Grammy Awards. She did it while wearing a crimson, silver, and blue tiered sequin short-sleeved gown designed by Naeem Kahn. This victory completed her EGOT.
There is no nomination for Shania Twain for a Grammy award. She said that this enabled her to more freely enjoy having fun with fashion. Twain had red hair, and her Harris Reed wide-belted pantsuit was decorated with enormous black polka dots over a white background. She completed the look by donning a tall, coordinating hat with a broad brim.
She greeted him with the words, “Here I am with all my new exciting stuff to wear.” Reed is an up-and-coming British-American designer, and she decided to show her support for him. Her objective was to “simply add some pop and joy,” as she put it.

Katz said that Twain “certainly scored in the avant-garde area but does kind of seem like she just walked out of Alice in Wonderland.” [Citation needed]
Katz said that Laverne Cox embodied the concept of “Wakanda Forever” while wearing a bespoke strapless leather Kim Kassas adorned warrior figure dress and jewelry that was influenced by African culture. It is always fashionable to show respect for African culture via one’s choice of clothing.
The late fashion editor Andre Leon Talley’s vision was honored in the form of a garment made of leather and designed by Kim Kassas for Cox. Another thought that kept running through her head was, “Egyptian/Cleopatra.”
Kelsea Ballerini wowed the red carpet with a one-of-a-kind dress designed by Prabal Gurung. The dress was made of a bright yellow chiffon and included featherweight back elements. Black was the color of the evening, and Amanda Gorman looked amazing in it. On the red carpet, Gorman twisted her long overlay, which was transparent and worn over a tiny dress while she was wearing Prada.
Katz remarked that Ballerini’s appearance on the red carpet exuded a “ethereal and dreamy” vibe.
